My husband and I came into the house buying process with very specific ideas of what we were looking for in a house and a very strict price point. We also were in the best of situations because we didn’t have to buy immediately. Therefore, we went through many real estate agents who just wanted to sell us a house without understanding our situation. I accidentally ran into Jon because I was finding houses myself without a real estate agent and he happened to be the sellers agent for the house I was viewing. I decided to give him a chance and he was fantastic. He never made me feel like he was pushing us to make a decision and I could tell him things about a house that bothered me and the next house listings he sent us would not include my sticking points. He found us a house that met all of our needs at the time and was exactly what we were looking for. When our mortgage agent fell through he immediately had a back up for us, who was fantastic, didn’t miss a beat. He also had to defend us in certain situations which he did well versus just showing up and going through the motions. I felt like our best interests were really being represented. Again, we used Jon Christopher to sell our house in 2016. Again he did a wonderful job representing our best interests and getting the highest price with shortest time on the market. He was honest and open about what our expectations should be and as always isn’t afraid to lean into uncomfortable situations. If I had the money I would keep using Jon over and over to buy real estate although I believe we are now at our forever home.

I feel bad for giving Jon only 5 Stars rating that he truly deserve for fear that potential review readers dismiss my review as false. I am a newcomer to the Philadelphia RE market, I found Jon following reviews like the one I am writing. Jon helped me my first investment property next to TU. We are currently looking for #2 and #3. On top of his in depth knowledge of Philadelphia RE market, Jon was able to share with me his network of professional : inspectors, lawyers, mortgages lenders, property managers. I would highly recommend Jon. I was a first time buyer and Jon’s expertise and insight were invaluable. My home buying process was a complicated one and Jon’s knowledge was a great help. My first attempted purchase fell through at settlement because of an issue with the seller. I ended up having to go to court to try to get my deposit money back from the seller. Jon came to court with me and testified on my behalf. With his help, I won the case and got the deposit money back. When I eventually found another house almost a year later, it ended up having an issue with the title. Due to Jon’s persistence and diligent work, I was able to get a clear title and now I’m very happy with the new house. Overall, I would completely recommend Jon to anyone looking to buy a house.

Jon was just one of a few agents we contacted to evaluate. Right off the bat, he gave a more personalized contact than the others, and after face-to-face interviews, it was clear he was going to be the best fit for us – he really impressed us with his knowledge and confidence. We were pretty picky about what we wanted, but Jon stuck with us, and gave us some ideas about how to be flexible. Our first offer derailed when we found serious termite issues, and we were disheartened, but Jon kept at it, and we eventually closed on something great. Through the whole process, he answered all our questions, and gave us his frank advice on everything. But he was never overbearing – if he thought we were making a mistake, he’d let us know, but also let us make the decisions. All told, we’re quite happy with how things went, and we can’t imagine it having gone as well with someone else.

I interviewed several others just to confirm my initial thoughts, since this is such a life changing event. Jon was professional, kind, sensitive and very much a realist about our home, the market at the time and pricing. He had very good knowledge of the area and did a fabulous job at capturing our homes best features in print and photos.
